Note: I take a pretty broad stance on the word ship so you need not worry if something is “shippy” enough; as long as it is about the relationship between the characters they don’t even have to be both present if that suits your purposes. I’ve written a bit about what hits for me and some potential ideas but please treat these as nothing more than suggestions, barring my DNWs you have free reign! I hope you have fun!

Chishiya Shuntarou/Kuina HikariTheir dynamic was my favorite part of the show; imagine my shock when I learned that the parts I loved best were not present in the manga… and that they never met again after parting in S2! Their alliance of convenience peppered with moments of just enough vulnerability to make one wonder... One instance of genuine care for Kuina’s safety (soda can bomb) that ended up saving the whole protagonist group from certain death… Chishiya had such a strong growth arc and I have to imagine that being around Kuina on the Beach was a key factor in that. Plus they just look so good together.
I’m not usually one for trans headcanons but I think it would be cute if they were t4t. Or not, but perhaps Chishiya knows and understands. In any case, I wish they had delved deeper into the subject on the show so centering Kuina’s gender identity would be a huge plus 🥹
Ensemble Stars!!
Kagehira Mika/Itsuki ShuWe all know what the S in Shu and M in Mika stand for! Just kidding, but under-negotiated BDSM is so fun for these two. Post-! era I see their dynamic as Mika unconsciously pressuring Shu into a dom role he no longer wants, and Shu barreling top speed towards more romantic intimacy and parity in their partnership that Mika is not necessarily ready for. More generally, I love the mismatch between Shu’s refined, traditional, idealistic sensibilities and Mika’s coarser tastes and desires (such as his enthusiasm for the macabre as well as more street-inspired aesthetics), often culminating in Shu recalibrating or expanding his horizons of “acceptability” while Mika frets about Shu changing because of him. Regardless of tone or genre, any story that hits these narrative beats is a 10/10 in my book.
Fandom-specific likes: detailed descriptions of clothing, Shu’s French classmates opinions of/reactions to Mika; references to Kuromori Suzu (if you know who that is); for NSFW, any kinks related to pain or submission are A-okay (Mika is a masochist little freak)

I nominated these two pairings for tagging convenience but really I would be happy with any permutation or combo between the four.
Some thoughts:
- Vignettes or random encounters from Allelujah and Marie’s hiking trip post S2~pre A Wakening
- After all those times Allelujah called Soma “Marie” and she was like “I’M NOT MARIE” it would be really cute for Hallelujah to prank her back when she calls for Allelujah

Harai Kuko & Aimono Jyushi & Amaguni HitoyaI just really, really love Bad Ass Temple — you could write them going out for curry together and I’d eat it up. (I requested this as an & relationship but I would be fine with established threeway poly for them too ☺️)
Fandom-specific likes: slice-of-life, casefic, depictions of Kuko’s temple duties/Jyushi’s band activities/Hitoya’s work life, interactions with mob characters such as fans/monks/clients, Kuko being able to see and communicate with ghosts/spirits/etc

Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure
Johnny Joestar/Gyro ZeppeliTwo best buds in love against a backdrop of the nitty gritty of everything that happens on the trail: cramped muscles, bad liquor, sweat and piss, the smell of campfire smoke, pointless conversation to fill up the long, empty stretches of time, the physical realities of Johnny’s paraplegia etc etc… (Fun fact: did you know that people who have lost feeling in their genitals often develop increased sensitivity and even orgasmic sensation in other places, such as the neck, ears, or waist?)
This is a pairing I think would work especially well for genderbend to F/F, so if you happen to feel so inclined — please do!
Giorno Giovanna/&Dio BrandoTheir potential fascinates me endlessly and I love the many possible interpretations of their relationship. They are in so many ways both mirror images and polar opposites; do their differences repel or attract each other? Are their similarities a point of pride or shame? If they met, would they be antagonistic? Loving and familial? Incestuous? All of the above? Also, I have a major weakness for Dio calling Giorno “Haruno,” whether out of affection or deadname-y power play.
If you choose to write for this pairing, I prefer that other part 5 characters don’t appear directly.
Additionally, I didn’t nominate pairings but I would love to read about Giorno /& anyone in the team, Giorno & characters from part 4 or 6 post-canon (maybe his half-brothers?), Giorno & his mother or the unnamed gangster from his childhood, Giorno & Jodio (alternate universe counterparts!), or literally anyone else you can think of because Giorno is my bestest boy. <3 And if none of this works for you, I also really love Bruno Bucciarati/Leone Abbacchio for part 5.

Yang Wenli/&Julian MintzAnother dadson pair that I love. It’s not often that Tanaka inserts references to Yang’s cultural background (I went wild reading that Yang taught him the word shifu in Julian’s Iserlohn Diary), which is a big missed opportunity I think. Celebrating a Chinese holiday together, Julian learning to cook Chinese dishes for Yang…
Alternatively, despite so much love between them I haven’t been able to get them to fuck due to the limitations of my imagination so if you can, I would love that. Pederasty vibes and boywife coding go crazy.

Hildegard von Mariendorf/Annerose von Grünewald
The two most important women in Reinhard’s life – the few scenes between them were so inexplicably charged and make me wonder what could have been. I’d love to see a post-canon exploration of them connecting through shared grief, raising a child together, etc — make up for lost time?

Cheng Xiaoshi & Lu Guang & Qiao LingThe trio’s dynamic in the donghua is pretty much perfect to me, I love them all so much. Which is to say more of that, or anything involving them you’d like to write. Or perhaps something like any two of them talking about the third person while they are absent.
Lu Guang/Cheng Xiaoshi
If you want to go the ship route, I’m especially interested in the tonal whiplash of the disparity of knowledge between them — timelooper Lu Guang going through life-and-death every day while Cheng Xiaoshi is living in a romcom. I also have a half-formed NSFW idea of Cheng Xiaoshi taking photos or videos during sex for ~later (or current?) use~ which Lu Guang is very annoyed by. Lol (I prefer top LG/bottom CXS but switching is okay too)
I’m not fully caught up on the currently airing Yingdu arc yet but if it matters for story purposes you can assume that I am.

Shino Sherwood/Heathcliff BlanchettAdmittedly I am new here and haven’t read all of the stories, but so far these two push all the right buttons for me. What I have read makes abundantly clear that a wizard’s very presence is perceived as a threat to human society, and yet Shino and Heath invest so much of themselves in these structures and human approval. I’d like to see a future where they are forced to confront the fragility of such constructs as vassal and lord, orphan and heir in a wizard’s lifespan — what happens when, in a few generations’ time, they have outlived every human they once knew and outstayed their welcome at Blanchett Castle?
I also have a vague wish to see Shino fight on Heath’s behalf as his champion in some scenario (a wish that Shino shares, I’m sure) and Heathcliff coming to understand why Shino draws strength from their lord/vassal relationship.
Everyone Is Gay World DNW doesn’t apply here because I truly believe all wizards are bisexual and probably fucking each other
Prince of Tennis
Tachibana Kippei/Chitose SenriThe Two Wings of Kyushu – from nightly private practice sessions at U17 to beastlike synchro to unintelligibly thick Kumamoto dialect, they are so often off in a world of their own. For the record I think they switch.
Two other pairings I like with 2wings are Chitose Miyuki/Tachibana An (the kid from back home you used to play with and haven’t seen in years is suddenly tall and hot?!) or Kirihara Akaya/Tachibana An (slap-slap-kiss romcom And He Injured His Future Brother in Law’s Ankle That One Time due to their similarly violent play styles), so if you feel inspired to write 2wings with one of these in the background, or even vice versa with 2wings in the background, I’d be so happy :)

Baji Keisuke/Hanemiya KazutoraGreatest love story of all time maybe… TO ME. Can’t say anything about these two without sounding insane and incoherent so I’ll just stop here. If you get it you get it.
Some ideas:
- I cherish every stage of the few short years they had together. Missing scenes from any of them welcome
- Valhalla member POV of the weeks leading up to Bloody Halloween, told as a recollection or assortment of rumors
- Prisoner POV getting to know his quiet cellmate with the neck tattoo and slowly learning about the guy he loved and killed
- Kazutora running into Baji Ryoko after his release from prison
- Bad Toman or pet shop timeline Kazutora waking up in final timeline Kazutora’s body (established relationship)
- F/F. They’re basically girls in my mind anyways
Also a huge fan of:
- Mitsuya Takashi/Ryuuguji Ken: having matching tattoos in a concealed spot is something that can be sooo... Draken was definitely Mitsuya’s gay awakening
- Mitsuya Takashi/Shiba Yuzuha: Mitsuya grabbing Yuzuha’s blade was one of the most romantic scenes of all time… and surely the start of a years-long will-they-won’t-they where they both date others and deny involvement while staying in suspiciously close orbit with each other both personally and professionally. Yuzuha’s main beef is custody of Hakkai.
- Mitsuya Takashi/both Haitani brothers: Mitsuya’s gay awakening #2 (his type is tall and inked). And remember that one time Wakui said he has sadist potential?
